Furniture Store Clerk Accused Of Stealing Credit Card Numbers

WELLINGTON, Fla. -- A sales clerk at a Wellington furniture store is accused of stealing credit card information from at least 18 customers of Designer Gallery, according to police.Police said Tyrone Cherry used the information to charge more than $17,000 worth of merchandise.Cherry's neighbor, Kim Sedgwick, said area residents were wondering where he was getting his money.
"There were always things being delivered. -- lots of packages,. And he also said he wanted to invest more money in the neighborhood -- buy more places. we thought somebody this young with that kind of money … you think of drugs," said Sedgwick.Police said they also discovered a small methamphetamine lab in a Riviera Beach warehouse that they believe belonged to Cherry.
